Verification Ledger

Records that institutions can confirm

The Ertzyx Verification Ledger connects individuals with organizations, institutions, and trusted witnesses to confirm credentials, memberships, achievements, and contributions, with review context and controlled public sharing.

Important: The Verification Ledger is a platform verification tool. It is not government-approved, blockchain-based, or an official credential authority. Verification is issued by participating organizations.

What It Is

Institutional verification without overreach

The Verification Ledger is the institutional side of the Ertzyx dual-ledger model. It enables organizations to confirm, attest to, and issue structured verification for individual records, without removing control from the individual.

When an institution verifies a record on Ertzyx, it is adding its confirmation to an individual's own account. The person still owns their record. The institution adds credibility. The result is a verified record that has both personal context and institutional backing.

The Verification Ledger is complemented by the Preservation Ledger, which handles personal stories, memories, and digital legacy. Together, they form a complete record of who a person is.

What Gets Verified

Six types of institutional confirmation

Credential Records

Structured records of qualifications, completions, and educational achievements confirmed by a participating institution.

Membership Verification

Confirmed membership records for professional associations, clubs, organizations, and community bodies.

Achievement Confirmation

Awards, recognitions, completions, and contributions verified by the issuing organization or trusted witnesses.

Institutional Dashboard

A dedicated console for institutions to manage issued verifications, review requests, and oversee confirmed records.

Trusted Witnesses

Individuals and organizations that can attest to a person's record, adding human confirmation without replacing personal ownership.

Public Verification Pages

Shareable, linkable pages showing verification status and context for records the individual has chosen to make public.

How It Works

The verification workflow

01

Individual adds a record

A person creates a record in their vault: a credential, achievement, membership, or contribution. They provide context, evidence, and relevant details.

02

Institution reviews and confirms

A participating organization with an institutional Ertzyx account reviews the record and issues confirmation. The review may include documentation, evidence, or organizational context.

03

Verified record is linked

The confirmed record is updated with institutional verification status. The individual sees the confirmation in their vault. The institution sees the record in its console.

04

Public sharing is optional

If the individual chooses to make the record public, a shareable verification page is generated. This page can be linked in applications, CVs, and portfolios.
